等知名遊戲。擺脫了加勒比海盜2（AoP 海盜3）眾多bug的形象，成為這個系列的頂尖作品
。遊戲採用相對獨立的系列任務系統，具有極高的自由度，個人能力系統也是採用非線性
的嶄新升級系統，令人耳目一新。大量以歷史真實事件為背景的任務，真實傳奇人物參與
的事件等待著玩家的參與。貿易、走私、尋寶、追蹤、搶掠、攻城、各類靈異事件、多場
史詩級戰役將玩家從一名小人物鍛煉成指揮一國海軍的海軍上將還是一名傳奇的大海盜全
由玩家作主。遊戲中玩家將會遇到很多不同人物，除了大眾臉的副官還能招收到其他主角
